You've got to hand it to these two, they can roll with the punches. The Petrucci girls were maybe a tougher crowd than what they are used to but they had us in stitches in no time. Just what the doctor ordered.
Sophia thinks that her dad would be perfectly suited to be a Dr. Gon Golfing. I am not sure if kids other than his daughter would get his jokes, though.
It's been amazing to see how many people sacrifice their personal time and volunteer at the hospital to make the days go by faster for the kids.
Yesterday, we were visited by Joanna who could play many unusual instruments to entertain the patients. She also took some time to instruct Sophia on three more guitar chords.
Okay, off to lunch now.

ReplyDeleteSophia it is good to see you laughing. I just caught up on your blog. I had to laugh when I read about the Queen of Annoyance(QA) It makes me feel better that I am not the only one who has kids that think their mom is annoying. Sophia you are an amazing young lady with a lot of strength and determination. Astrid you keep up the research and asking questions. There are never too many questions. Sophia couldn't have a better advocate. You all have been through so much and I am praying that you will be out of the hospital and home soon. Your on the homestretch baby!!

I think the Petrucci family should return the favor at Seattle Children's when you get home. I'd love to see Paul dressed up like a clown!
